OUR CAMPUS

The school campus sprawls over two acres in the heart of Ahmednagar. The attractive and imposing building has spacious, well ventilated classrooms, clean, big well equipped toilets for boys and girls, comfortable staff rooms and wide corridors.

STAGE AREA

Icons are fearless on stage. The stage in the building is their playground to hone their creative and artistic talent. They dance, act and perform freely each day and showcase their talent every day in the zero period. They overcome their fears early and lose their inhibitions to emerge confident in front of an audience.

CLASSROOMS

The classrooms are not just spacious and well ventilated rooms; they are homes of learning. They have different areas like the duties and responsibility section, a neat cabinet for the students to keep their books and belongings, a creative corner that allows them to hone their talents in a creative manner. The furniture is well designed to take care of good posture and comfort of the students.

The classrooms are well knitted with digital screens and projectors as teaching aids. The digital projectors are uploaded with Extra Marks software. The concept of adventure and animated learning is used as tools to impart meaningful education in an interesting manner so that an engaging learner- centric environment is created by state of the art technology, infrastructure and professionally developed multimedia learning modules.

TECHNOLOGY LABS

Information and Technology is no more an arena to be explored by a select few. The computer lab in The Icon Public School is equipped with adequate computers for the students to practice individually and the latest software is provided to keep them abreast with the latest technology.

In today’s world, Information and Technology get the pick of the bunch. Students must be exposed to the computer environment at a younger age, when they are at primary learning stage and their ability to grasp is high. Exposure to computers at this stage of life will certainly help them in future, no doubt for better career in the computer field, engineering etc.
In other words to equip the students to face the challenges of the modern technological era, computer are becoming a necessity rather than a luxury. Keeping this in view, to give the best, Computer Science is being introduced in the school curriculum.

INFOTAINMENT ROOM (AV & IT ROOM)

The IT room is a space where our learning meets technology. Be it typing assignments or learning different software, listening to songs for the assembly performance or just watching school videos, this place is open.  Ably handled by our ‘Techleader’, the IT room helps us explore and connect the world to us.

SCIENCE LABS

The three science labs: Physics, Chemistry and Biology, are equipped beyond the requirement of the board to give students a hands on experience of the concepts they learn from books. Models, instruments, specimens, chemicals are enough to have each student perform experiments individually. Well-qualified and experienced teachers guide the students to explore the world of science through a meticulously planned schedule of practical classes. Moreover, the safety of every child while handling the chemicals and instruments is duly taken care of.

Come let us read…. THE SCHOOL LIBRARY

Books are keys to wisdom’s treasure, Books are gates to lands of pleasure.

The School has a well equipped library, with over 5000 books which include classics, fiction, autobiographies and children’s literature and more than 30 periodicals which are added to continually. The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedia, journals and newspapers to enrich their classroom activities and knowledge.

The reading room is a pleasant place where students can browse, select a book of their interest and read. Though silence is the norm in the library, their bubbling minds are not inhibited and they are encouraged to have books related conversations in whispers under the guiding eye of the librarian.

ART ROOM

The Art Room is where young artists  in the making create “arty” magic. Students have all the freedom to express their thoughts and feelings, in that circle of beauty, through different art techniques. Art is a way to express self, so opinions matter and they are never rejected. Their creations are put up on the walls every week for others to appreciate and take inspiration from.
